Must be affordable to wheelchair users and care providers. Should be competitively priced against similar products. Designed for wheelchair users of all ages who need a portable work/eating surface or something to use for carrying objects around. Should be easy to attach and remove. Should be durable for long-term use. Materials should be recyclable where possible.(don’t combine materials that are non-recyclable) maybe make it compostable. Must fit a wide range of wheelchair models of different shapes and sizes. Compact enough for indoor use but wide enough to provide a usable surface. Must include rounded edges and secure straps/clips to prevent movement. Must support hot drinks safely with a cup holder. Must allow eating, writing, and device use comfortably. Cup holders or slots for accessories desirable. Should use lightweight but strong materials (laminated MDF/plywood and plastic fixings) but try to stay as recyclable as possible See more
