Bravo sits cross legged at the step of the shrine, eyes shut, hands pressed together. As he focuses, the air shimmers — and slowly, the magical barrier around the shrine becomes visible. A dome of lilac energy flows overhead like liquid light, currents flowing across its surface. The dome funnels up and seems to travel towards the other shines, though the visibility fades out. Then cracks of red and black begin to spread from Bravo — his energy, jagged and violent, pushes into the flow like cracks growing in a glass bowl. The flow of light crashes into the cracks like a wave hitting a wall. The fox twitches like it can’t tell if this is harmful or not. The cracks travel up the spout and fully disconnect the shrine from the others. The fox stands up and prepares to pounce. See more
