I'd like an infographic suitable for a social media post, something whimsical. The concept is how educators have responded to AI in their teaching. I'd like the responses similar to Kubler-Ross's 5 stages of grief. My idea is that educators will go through 5 stages of response to LLMs and AI. The stages are: 1. Denial - characterised by simply ignoring AI and its uses, and attempting to ban students from using it. 2. Anger - Hate the fact that students are using AI and that it's hard to prove - a lot more work! 3. Bargaining - Beginning to work on ways that AI can be used ethically and trying to get students to adhere to this: "you can use AI in these ways, it must be declared", etc. 4. Depression - Oh God, it's all too much, AI is coming after my job, life is meaningless... 5. Acceptance - Used effectively, AI can be a powerful tool in aiding education. Students coached to use the technology correctly won't outsource their learning and will still be able to access the higher levels of Bloom's taxonomy (the bit often asked of AI). See more
