At the top, center of the marker, inscribe the name “Tommy” in a bold serif font, Below that, inscribe the full name “Thomas John Shettler” on one line, and below that on a separate line the dates “October 27, 1958 – March 22, 2023” in a matching classic serif font. Below that on the next line, write the phrase “Fair Winds and Following Seas” with each word capitalized except “and,” in an italic or script-style font that is elegant and readable, giving the sense of a quote, but make this font slightly smaller to allow space below.
