Now, I suppose the inhabitants of this kingdom need a little explaining, don't they? They are mostly like ordinary people, but they are a bit more fish-like. They have a fin on the side of the bottom half of each leg, so that if they put both legs together it makes a single fin with which they can swim quite fast with. They also have webbed hands and feet, fin-like ears, gills along their necks, and sometimes smaller fins on their forearms. Their hair is like that of human hair, but it doesn't get messy and matted from being washed in ocean water like humans’ hair, and it can be colors such as blue, green, or even purple (although that is much less common), or colors like brown, black, blonde, ginger, and such. They are an intelligent and creative people, and they live both in and out of the ocean, because they have gills as well as lungs, and when they are out and about on land you will find that they are excellent climbers. These people are called Marisapiens, or Mari people, which means “wise ones of the sea” in the old ocean language. See more
