As we wrap up 2025, I want to say a genuine thank you for what has been a huge year for HSSE at Origin. It’s not often that we get the opportunity to build a new team, implement a new way of working, and release a new strategy all in the same year. It hasn’t always been easy - we’ve hit some bumps along the way and had to pivot and adapt as we learn and grow, but I know that we’ve made a real difference. We’re prioritising risks to protect people, assets and the environment with practical HSSE. We now have less complexity, more transparency and greater consistency across Origin. We have visibility of our work and we’re getting better at planning, sizing, prioritising and delivering. And we’re collaborating and connecting as a team and with our BU’s, to become trusted peers and partners. There have been so many individual success stories. We’ve seen the introduction of remote isolation verifications in IG Assets and a step-change improvement in safety performance during our G&ET outages. D&C has overcome environmental challenges at our BESS sites and IG Asset Services has supported a safe ramp-up of high-risk activity through Safely Execute. Origin Zero achieved ISO certification for our HSEMS and in LPG we now have a deep understanding of our injury profile and how we can improve. Retail and Offices are leading the way in how we support our customers and our employees. And the engine room of SME’s and Shared Services has supported all the BU’s and our teams by delivering See more
